Ms. Zlotogura has spent all of her professional career representing both large and small businesses in litigated and transactional matters. She has represented landlords and tenants, banks and borrowers and contractors and property owners in and out of the courtroom. The ability to understand and appreciate both sides of the equation gives her a unique perspective and allows her to find practical solutions to the most difficult controversies. Ms. Zlotogura received her undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton with a joint major in Economics and Management Sciences. In 1983 she graduated from Boston University School of Law. In 1988, she received a Master of Business Administration with distinction from Pace University. She is admitted to practice law before the Courts of the States of New Jersey and New York, the United States Supreme Court, the United States Tax Courts and the United States District Courts in New Jersey and New York. In 2006 she was appointed to the Independent Election Qualification Commission for the Ninth Judicial District of the Unified Court System of the State of New York where she served until 2011. She currently serves on the Fee Dispute Panel for the Ninth Judicial District.
Ms. Zlotogura served as President of the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York (“WBASNY”) from 2004-2005. Prior to her term as WBASNY President she served as President-Elect from 2003-2004, two terms as a Vice-President from 2001-2003 and two years as Treasurer from 1999-2001. Ms. Zlotogura has also served WBASNY as Chair of the Advisory, Convention, Membership, Finance and the Long Range Planning Committees.
In 2011, Ms. Zlotogura was elected to her second term as President of the Rockland County Women’s Bar Association having first served in that position from 1996 through 1998. Ms. Zlotogura has been a member of the Rockland County Women’s Bar Association since its formation in 1984 serving on its board of directors or as an officer, every year since 1988. From 2007 through 2011 she has served as the Rockland County Women’s Bar Association delegate to the WBASNY Board of Directors.
In May, 2011 Ms. Zlotogura was awarded the prestigious Marilyn R. Menge Award in recognition of her valuable and significant contributions to both the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York and the Rockland County Women’s Bar Association.
Ms. Zlotogura is a member of the Rockland County and Bergen County Bar Associations. She has been a resident of Rockland County, New York for over 30 years and is involved in numerous civic activities.
